This was formed to provide goods and services to events and functions other than those produced by DSM Events. It affords other event promoters the opportunity to avail themselves of some of the equipment and expertise that we have gained through our 38 events and 8 years. We are always open to discussion, so contact us with your requirements.

Audio Systems - we created a unique, large area audio system that is wireless and by using multiple systems, all slaved to one master we have covered as many as six event sites, separated by nearly a mile. Large shows and cruise functions are our specialty. We are also equipped to provide complete audio services for your event including music and announcing if desired, or our equipment can just augment your own.

Radio Systems - both UHF and VHF FM two way radios are available from us. Handheld radios, plus mobile units or bases to extend your coverage if needed. We have over 200 radios in our system. We handles such unique applications as transmission of data as well.

Hardware of various types - gasoline powered golf cars, generators, rescue boats, tables & chairs, vending trailers, 10' canopies, large portable evaporative coolers, and more are in our inventory.

Exhibitions - would a burnout contest add excitement to your next event? We can provide the equipment, experience, and personnel to do it for you. We also have the world's first jet powered Bud Delivery Van that will be available for exhibition meltdowns early spring, 2002.

We have contracted to numerous events and sanctioning bodies; among them are the SCTA, SCORE, IJSBA, USFRA, Run to the Sun, Roddin' on the River, Route 66 Memorial, and many more. We can provide hardware alone, or combine it with on-site support personnel.

Multi-Venue, Outdoor Event, Audio/Music/ PA System

Until now if you needed to cover a large outdoor event area with sound your choices were very limited. You could run miles of wire and put tinny sounding horn speakers on poles, or you could have a very loud source with sound blasting from it, making the area near the source Aundesirable@ for participants and spectators alike.

We, at Desert Steel Motorsports discovered these limitations eight years ago when we produced our first event on a golf course, and our first multi-block long downtown cruise night. As a solution we designed the first sound system of it=s type to cover our own events. It features a local main audio source, with high powered audio amplification of various signal sources; CDs, tapes, broadcast commercial radio stations and local (and wireless) microphones for announcements. These systems are self-contained in trailers, from a fourteen foot unit to a forty foot tractor trailer rig, and large, fifteen inch outdoor console speakers are placed on the roof of the trailer to provide sound locally to the trailer.

What makes this unique is that the main system is also connected to two radio transmitters. The first one sends the very same audio that is coming out of the speakers at the main unit to any number of remote receivers. Each of these receivers is then connected to it=s own amplifier and console speakers located at the remote venues. In this way, as many remotes as desired may be utilized to achieve the desired over-all event coverage. These remote units are slaved to the main; the music or announcing that is emanating from the speakers at the main is simultaneously coming out of all of the remote speakers, and the volume of the all of the remotes is controlled by the mixer board levels at the main.

In addition, a second, low power, FM broadcast band transmitter is sending the audio out as a signal that can be received by the event participants in their vehicles as they cruise between and at the various venues, further enhancing their fun and involvement in the event.

We can provide the entire system in a stand alone fashion, with all units powered by either batteries or generators. In our experience we have covered as many as eight separate hotel parking lots that were involved in a common event, and as large an area as an entire golf course. Contact us and let=s discuss your requirements, we are the experts on large area outdoor audio.
